Business and IT solutions firm Garnet River announced Gloria Bailey has been appointed Human Resources manager. Bailey is responsible for employee onboarding, recruitment assistance, benefits and ensuring consistent application of human resources policies and compliance with local, state and federal regulations. She is based in Garnet River’s headquarters office at 60 Railroad Place in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
“Gloria is an accomplished HR professional with decades of experience in recruitment, benefits management and policy. Her background in health care and the public sector aligns perfectly with our customer base, and we look forward to her leadership and guidance in helping to manage Garnet River’s 100+ employees during a period of high growth. Prior to joining Garnet River, Bailey was human resource specialist for Albany Med Health Systems, where she oversaw day-to-day administration of the leave programs and supported the leadership team. She has also worked in human resource roles for Living Resources, Charter Communications, St. Peter’s Health Partners and the Research Foundation of State University of New York. She has more than 25 years of experience in human resources.
Bailey earned her bachelor’s degree in sociology and business administration from the University at Albany and an associate degree in business administration from Hudson Valley Community College. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
