The Challenge
A local government IT operation was attacked and exploited, resulting in compromise and ransomware attack network and datacenter operations.
The Solution
Garnet River was able to assist in both the post attack remediation, and the restructuring of the network and servers (post event) to prevent similar attacks in the future. Garnet River also provided training and exploitation testing for the IT organization.
The Impact
The restructuring of the network, and the education services provided by Garnet River enabled the ongoing operation of the local government office, while providing a stable platform moving forward. Changes that were adopted included structural changes to the network, updating and modification of the firewalls, changes to data sharing policy, and an ongoing training program.
